WHY THE LIFE PROJECT IS UNIQUE
The Life Project is a grass roots strategy for awakening Christians to the cause of Life that includes media, curriculum, and Life resources designed to move believers from lukewarm disapproval of abortion to activism for Life.
It eases the tension between compassion and truth telling by presenting a holistic message: the truth about abortion with hope for healing.
It begins with prayer. It uses abortion imagery carefully, but without fear. Please click here to catch the VISION.
OUR VISION IS BOLD AND BIBLICAL
To restore the sanctity of life as a holy gift from God
To make the killing of children in the womb unthinkable
To seek forgiveness and renewal for men and women who have aborted their babies
To re-imagine our society as a welcoming place for every baby entering the world.
The Life Project takes a new and different approach. We are not another organization or institution, just a group of Christians with a passion for Life. We believe the right to life is foundational and that every Christian should feel compelled by Christ's love for "little ones" to join the battle against the killing of unborn children. We believe forgiveness and repentance is essential not only for men and women who have aborted their children, but also for the rest of us who have tacitly accepted abortion on demand. And so we have created a powerful four part message for Life that has never been proclaimed to the Church, and an effective strategy for implementing its delivery and teaching believers how to save lives.

OUR MESSAGE FOR A SLEEPY CHURCH: WAKE UP!
See: Every Christian needs to see and understand the miracle of Life and the tragedy of abortion.
Reflect: We need to seek God's forgiveness for our tacit acceptance of a culture of death, and offer Jesus' love and mercy to men and women who have aborted their children.
Embrace Life: We must call believers to embrace Life and have nothing to do with furthering the practice of abortion or supporting anyone or any group who seeks to encourage or facilitate it.
Take a Stand: Every Christian needs to take a stand for Life by playing an active role in the struggle to save unborn babies and remake our society as a welcoming place for children entering the world.

EVERY SUCCESSFUL STRATEGY FOR CHANGE REQUIRES AN ACTION PLAN.
Our plan centers around helping the Church find its voice and equipping Christians to make a life-saving difference. By the Church, we mean individual believers, Christian churches, colleges and universities, high schools, and other Christian institutions of all types. And because we understand that pastors, presidents, and administrators have their hands full, these strategies are designed to be implemented by lay people with the blessing of Christian leaders to rally their communites for Life.
Prayer: This is where it all begins. We suggest that anyone wanting to renew their church or school's pro life commitment begin by starting a weekly or monthly prayer group, seeking God's heart for Life and His desire for their community - simple, beautiful, powerful - and we'll have specific suggestions.
Media: If you believe God is leading you to take the next step in your community (and we believe He will), you will soon have access to a compelling short documentary designed specifically for Christians called LIFE. Motion pictures are the visual language of our time. LIFE will challenge Christians to action in a completely new way. We are also developing a feature length theatrical movie. Curriculum: Our films will help create a receptive heart and a willingness to ask "What now?" We want to turn that willingness to action with a thoughtfully written, Biblically based, four-part curriculum for small groups that uses segments of the LIFE documentary as discussion starters.
Resources for Action: The LIFE documentary will be created around profiles of Christians taking courageous and sacrificial steps to save babies and end abortion. The curriculum will offer practical avenues for life-saving activities, and the LIFE PROJECT website will include interactive resources and links.
Pro Life Partners: We want to work with any pro life ministry or Christian institution that eschews violence and takes their essential principles from a sound understanding of God's Word on Life. Our fully implemented website and curricular materials will contain many suggestions.
MEDIA WILL CONVEY THE CORE MESSAGE OF THE LIFE PROJECT.
Motion pictures are the common language of our time. Verite Studios and Worthwhile Productions are currently developing two films specifically designed for Christian audiences, but also aimed at crossing over to secular audiences as well.
LIFE will be a pro life documentary unlike any other, told through real-life stories of women and men who have seen abortion through God's eyes and responded in repentance and joy to His calling. The thirty minute version could be shown in Sunday Worship services, Sunday School, or a special event. The film could also be shown in four segments of 7 - 10 minutes each, which will synchronize with a four week program of written curricular materials for small groups and classes. The four segments of the
film correspond to the four elements of our Message for Life: The Miracle of Life and the Tragedy of Abortion, Forgiveness is Real, A New Way of Life, and Saving Lives. A four minute teaser version will be available for download to promote the longer film. Additional resources will offer links and contacts to help make a real difference, saving lives locally and nationally.
FAITH is the compelling dramatic story of a young woman journalist drawn into a political controversy while covering an abortion story for a major metropolitan newspaper. We see Life in new ways through her eyes as she journeys from skepticism and doubt to hope and faith. This project is targeted for a major theatrical movie release. HERE IS WHY THE CONTENT OF OUR MEDIA WILL HAVE A HUGE IMPACT:
ONE We believe everyone needs to see the miracle of Life. With full funding for our project, we can create stunning photo-realistic HD computer animation of babies inside the womb, similar to the images above but in higher resolution. While other documentaries have shown grainy ultrasounds or low resolution depictions, our computer images will fully capture the miraculous beauty of God’s children in the womb.
TWO We believe everyone needs to see the tragedy of abortion as long as it is presented in a careful and compassionate way. Every successful modern social movement from the campaign against child labor to the civil rights struggle has used photographic imagery to make injustice real. In the past many pro life groups have recoiled against using abortion imagery, as if the impact of the images were too great to bear. By contrast, those who were witnesses to the Nazi Holocaust insisted that only photographs could tell the whole truth, convincing even skeptics of the horror of the death camps. THREE We believe the best films tell stories about real people. Our films will contain profiles of people whose lives have been deeply affected by abortion. All of the information we present, including the Life and abortion imagery will be delivered from a human perspective drawn out of a deep commitment to understanding God's heart for Life.

This is a video trailer we produced to raise money for the Life Project. The completed LIFE documentary will be different. This trailer shows the awful truth about abortion on demand in America with a glimmer of hope for change. The LIFE documentary will show the truth about abortion, but offer Christians more hopeful stories of transformation, a stronger and more specific challenge for action, high definition photo-realistic animation of unborn babies, and will be styled for a young adult audience.
